Letting Go of Ideas That Don’t Serve the Film

Not every idea belongs in the final score.

There are moments where something you like—something you’ve spent time on—just doesn’t fit. And letting go of it isn’t always easy.

But the focus has to stay on the film.

In the long run, removing what doesn’t serve the story makes everything stronger.
