Working with Limitations: Why Constraints Can Help Creativity
It might seem like having more options leads to better creativity—but that’s not always the case.
Sometimes limitations are what push ideas further. Whether it’s a restricted palette of sounds, a tight deadline, or a specific tone set by the director, constraints force you to think differently.
Instead of relying on endless choices, you start focusing on what really matters. I’ve found that some of the most interesting ideas come from working within boundaries, not outside them.
